Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Euda ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Euda. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not create accounts for others or transfer your account.
• You may have only one account.

4. What You Can Do

Euda lets you:

• Discover local events and activities
• Check in at events with photos
• Share posts with other users
• RSVP to events
• Connect with friends
• React to and comment on posts
• Create your own events

5. Content You Create

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create (photos, captions, comments). By posting content on Euda, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to post content that:

• You do not have the right to share
• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
• Contains nudity or sexually explicit material
• Promotes violence or discrimination
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content
• Impersonates another person

Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice. You can delete your own posts at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the App by automated means
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Use the App to send unsolicited communications

7. Location-Based Features

The App uses your device's location to verify your proximity to events when checking in. This verification happens on your device. Your location is not stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Contacts Feature

The App offers an optional feature to find friends from your phone contacts. If you use this feature, only hashed (anonymized) phone numbers are sent to our server for matching. Raw contact information never leaves your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Third-Party Content

The App displays events and activities sourced from third-party services (e.g., Ticketmaster, Google Places). We do not control or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party content. Event details (dates, times, locations, pricing) may change without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The Euda name, logo, and App design are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission. The App's source code is proprietary.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, posts, photos, and social connections will be removed. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is deleted.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We may also discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of event or activity information displayed in the App
• Actions taken by other users
• Loss of data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy
• Events, venues, or activities listed in the App

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EUDA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
